Subject: We should not think it is bad because PSU gets more press. Sure we are not in PSU's class, but we played them pretty well last week without getting blown out. It was great to see the Dukes at PSU and I'm looking forward to seeing PSU visit the Dukes next season.

  • Look, I am tired of all the boot-licking excuses; there is no justification for the P-G's coverage of last night's impressive Dukes road victory; they disrespect the Duquesne program regularly; so I really can do without their pathetic excuse for a daily newspaper.   • Agreed. I can understand papers not sending a reporter to Green Bay. But not to pay a stringer a hundred or two hundred $ to write a real game story, & not use wire service reports, is neglectful. Regarding performance, we have as much relevance in NCAA D-1 basketball (ranked in the 2nd quartile) as compared to Pitt football in the BCS (ranked in the 2nd quartile). Going to NIT and CBI is equal to going to Meineke and BBVA bowls. I'm not saying that we HAVE the same relevance and deserve the same coverage, but give us the recognition and respect for what the Dukes have and are accomplishing.
