Agreed. I can understand papers not sending a reporter to Green Bay. But not to pay a stringer a hundred or two hundred $ to write a real game story, & not use wire service reports, is neglectful. Regarding performance, we have as much relevance in NCAA D-1 basketball (ranked in the 2nd quartile) as compared to Pitt football in the BCS (ranked in the 2nd quartile). Going to NIT and CBI is equal to going to Meineke and BBVA bowls. I'm not saying that we HAVE the same relevance and deserve the same coverage, but give us the recognition and respect for what the Dukes have and are accomplishing.   - phildogg, it doesn't affect me or you since we're already Dukes fans. We will seek out information on our team. But good newspaper coverage creates a buzz with the average sports fan. A game story would have generated more interest in the Dukes than the afterthought that the PG gave to us.
