McConnell for The Lair going at each other all game..... McConnell came on strong in the second half, when he scored 13 of his 15 points in the win. "It's hard to guard a player with that kind of shooting ability, who's going to get a lot of screens and opportunities, but he played well," Brown said of McConnell's performance, "especially coming back at him in the second half."   • What's up with our players ? Bobby Mo and Armpitt kids are there twice a week. Other than 4 or 5 of our players, we're usually no shows. Not a good sign for our team. Are our players in class on Monday and Wednesday nights ? Do they have small injuries ? Don't they feel like playing ? Would love to know the story behind their absence.   • Did i say he could not shoot? i just said he was more of a scorer. Maybe his game will change in college as he cant blow by the good players which was evidenced by Gibbs owning him last night. I was there last night and he did make some treys but to just judge him on one game that you werent at is absurd. Ive seen him play maybe close to 25 times and he is a driver, slasher and mid range shooter before a deep threat. Give it a rest LT...your subtle jabs are getting old. • Just scanned the Pitt board and saw that EE had 20 pts, 8 boards and 8 assists. BJ had 17 pts and 10 rebounds (along with his FT misses at the end of the game). TJ had 15 on 6-12 shooting, 4 rebounds and 3 assists. CLK, I got a different meaning on Gil Brown's quote - I took it as he was referring to Gibbs having the shooting ability and getting the screens / opportunities, and that TJ was schooled in the first half (16 points for Gibbs/2 for TJ); that TJ came back in the second half and played him even up.
