I don't know about coming from Maryland, but access to State College has been greatly improved by the completion of segments of new Interstate 99. Be careful to follow the road signs if you use GPS which doesn't seem to have the updates and will try to send you the old way. The weather should still be decent then, thousands of good seats available, good food and drink, it's a party town, winnable but competitive game, what's not to love. I come to games at the AJP from Maryland several times a year, and I will also make the trip to State College for this game. I usually pick one week out of the season and follow the team for each game that week. This past year was St.Joes at AJP, Temple in Philly, and GW in DC (although I missed that game because of the snow, even though it was the closest to where I live...lol).
