Subject: I think Aaron White fits the bill for what RE is trying to accomplish.
In reply to: CLK 's message, "My guess is that Aaron White is at the top of Ron's wish list. While we could find a spot for both (different types of players) with Saunders graduating Aaron with his athletic ability would be an ideal pick up." on Friday, October 01, 04:06:52pm

I'm not particularly a "size matters" kind of guy when you consider the level of big guy that will fall down to the mid-major level. Someone like Joel Wright intrigues me. Granted he played at a AA level in NYC, but 25 points and 20 rebounds pg during his jr year is astonishing. Derrick Martin reminds me of a young Damian Saunders who came here as a defensive specialist. Martin avg 15 rebounds and 7 blocks pg. If these kids are developed properly and we bring in a kid like Aaron, I'm not concerned at all about the future.

  • I agree. He's big, is very athletic, hard worker has a great court sense and can play for Duquesne right away. Great opportunity for him. Go Dukes! (NT) -- DUDUDE, Friday, October 01, 05:10:52pm
