Subject: As a Yankees fan, I can say this.
In reply to: Bilgy 's message, "The color person does not have to be a man. The Yankees have a woman who is now the color commentator, Susan somebody. On the very few nights that I can get a Yankee game to come in on the radio I hear her with John Sterling. The only thing is she seems to chime in too often." on Friday, August 13, 10:29:48am

Bad example.

Bad, bad, bad.

While knowledgeable about the sport, she has a tendency to, well, how can I say this? To gush like a schoolgirl with a crush.

She and Sterling irritate the hell out of me. They can actually pass between innings without giving the score. You never know what's going on sometimes.

I miss the TV tandem of Bobby Murcer (departed) and Jim Kaat (retired), and I certainly miss the radio glory days of Frank Messer, Bill White and The Scooter, Phil Rizzuto.
