Subject: Just go by you rbody's dimesions as weight is not always a good indicator of what's happening

I think it's great that you have also begun to measure body fat, as weight alone is not always a good indicator of what's happening in your body. This is because you will also start to develop muscle where there has been fat! So, you may find that your weight loss seems to be stalling. However, when you look at your body's dimensions, and fat percentage you will find that your body as a whole is slimmer than before. (I always notice this because my clotehs fit me better) I started low carbing because my family has a tradition of males having heartattacks once they turn 60 (yikes!) and most males in our family develop type 2 diabetis and lots of upper torso fat. So, I'm not overweight in the strict sense of the word, and my weight loss was minimal. However, In two weeks I did lose most of my upper torso fat and my bum got smaller too (A Good Thing) So I've given up weighing myself, but I do look at body fat and I keep track of how my clothes fit to have an indicator of weight loss or gain. Good luck to you! You should be doing alright if you lose that much body fat. One pointer though: do you measure it the appropriate measuring points? If you stick to those, your measurements will get more reliable.

Alex
