Sherry, This interests me a lot since someone studying metabolism said something about needng to "reset your metabolism" every once in a while (he tried to explain to me why "carbing up" and then going back to low carb works in building muscle and then losing fat again. Is that something you do or are you so used to the Atkins style that it is no longer necessary? I was wondering too because I do a lot of long distance walking and I felt it actually got better when low carbing. Again, my "metabolism friend" told me that his is because ketones are better for endurance, while glucose is the short distance fuel. But perhaps I just don't know enough about working out... :)
