Sherry,
I haven't got the book yet. It's coming in the mail. (I live in Israel where my husband is posted.) Anyway, I'm getting started on BDL with info I've found on BDL websites and message boards. I'm trying to do the six meals a day-- fist-sized portions, etc. I'm finding that I want carbos at the end of the day, too. I guess I'll just have to get better at distracting myself and coming up with solutions. I've been doing Atkins so much that maybe the carbos in BDL are stimulating my carbo addiction (if Atkins and the Hellers are right about carbos.. Who knows?) Anyway, I'm going to stick to it. So I'm there with you. Are you using the EAS shakes for some meals? I don't think I can buy those here-- but maybe GNC has something. They're here.

By the way-- are you doing the weight training at home or do you go to a gym? I'm trying to decide whether to join a gym or to buy a bench and weights. Right now I'm just making stuff up-- my cardio is basically running in place! So it turns out it is also a lower body workout because today (after cardio yesterday) my calves are killing me!!

Sometimes I can control evening cravings by having dinner late, then getting out of the house for a long walk, showering and going to bed so that I'm away from that damned kitchen!!!

I hope the book comes soon.
