Had a nice talk with Dr. Lee this evening....she was kind of concerned when I told her that Maggie had thrown up last night and how she still acting....I think she thought the "tiredness" would've gone away..but tonight when I told her that she just doesn't seem like herself and won't play at all and just doesn't seem interested in anything she decided she'd better see her....so we have an appointment tomorrow at 9:30... -- Piggy's Pad

I'm supposed to give her her usual dose in the morning and feed her very little so the food doesn't effect the thyroid levels.....then after our appointment we are going to cut her dose by 1/2.....but she wants to see what her levels are with the dose she first prescribed.....
now my only real worry is that we can nab her in the morning to take her...and she doesn't figure out what we are up to and go and hide!!! Please say a prayer for her....she's got me pretty worried....Rick and I talked about it quite a bit tonight...she may have lost weight before the meds, but she seemed so much happier and and playful....I just don't know what we are going to do if we can't get her feeling better with the meds....if she continues like this, I just don't know what to do, she is just not happy..and that breaks my heart.... Oh, Kate, reading this breaks *my* heart. I know you only want what's best for her and it's so hard on you, knowing that she was acting better before you put her on the medicine. But I'm so glad you were able to get an early appointment for her with Dr. Lee and this is certainly better for all of you instead of having to wait until next Wednesday, which would have driven you nuts. By now, I can only hope you were able to catch her (even if it stresses her out) and get her there. (we'll do the same thing......closing off escape routes so there are fewer places for them to hide or get out of reach). Please post as soon as you get home and let us know what's happening.
