In reply to: Denise 's message, "Depends on the cat Christine! Some cats take pills better, others take liquid better but still, a cat is usually harder to pill than a dog. I don't have problems catching any of mine. Does she run and hide? She knows something is up! I'm not sure what med you were given but you could call the vet and ask if it can be mixed with food. Some can be crushed and liquid added and syinged into them. With some cats you just plain need two people. Wish I was able to help you! I actually get on my knees and put the cat between my knees so they can't back away. Some cats do better if you put them on a counter top, a surface theya ren't used to. Good luck. Have a long talk with her and tell her why she needs her meds!" on 3:49:44 pm, Wed, 03/26/08

I caught her today and wrap her up in a towel and gave her to my mom so she can pill her but it didn't last long and she got away and tried to catch her again so my mom could do it again but no go. So we gave up. She is such a stubborn cat. Now she is in my room under my bed hiding. My vet didn't have any liquids to mix in with the food for Molly Ann or I would had ask for that. I give her 1/2 of a pill daily. She didn't get both of them today because like I said couldn't catch her again. I wish you was here also then maybe with 3 people it would had work. Tomorrow before I leave to go volunteer I hope I can catch her for my mom so she can pill her while I'm gone. She is a smart cat. But if I should catch her I would have to do as you suggested put her in between my knees and get those two pills down her. It is so fusterating. My cat not one of them I wish she was. This is actually the first time I had to ever pill her so now I know. Thank you Denise.
