Subject: It will be easier if you are calm and act like it's no big deal to give her her pill. (msg)

Also, when she just wakes up from a nap it's easier. Pick a place where you can hold her securely, and where it's quiet. Maybe in your bedroom with the door closed. I've been giving my Maggie pills every day recently. She doesn't even like to be held/cuddled, and sure doesn't want pills. I wait until she wakes up from a nap, pick her up and take her to my desk. For some reason this is the easiest place for her. On the living room couch, she fights. In here, she doesn't. I hold her quietly for a minute, and then when it's time, I hold her securely and give her her pill. I try to get it as far back as possible so she can't spit it out. I tell her what a good girl she is, and then I let her go. It takes practice, but if you remember to stay calm, and do what you need to do, it will get better.
