but I'm sure I missed a lot of people/posts!

Harley is doing GREAT! He goes to the vet tomorrow (during my lunch break) to get his stitches out.

I'm busy busy busy, but that's a good thing. Haven't had time to get online at work, and then very little time when I get home! Hopefully things will get back to normal after the holidays tho.... well.... what exactly is normal? My life is crazy! LOL

We are SOOO booked for the Holidays that we are bringing in crates for the over-flow! The owners were so desperate to get their dogs in, they said they didn't care if they were crated... It amazes me how so many people have waited till the last minute to make reservations for their pets too!

We still have a dozen or more people on a waiting list just in case we get a cancellation. Our hours are going to be 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. till the 27th. We need more time to take care of everyone. Not sure how many dogs exactly, as some families have more than one dog per kennel. I know all 16 of our kennels are full, plus we're bringing in 6 crates... and I know several of those bookings are for families with multiple dogs... Will be interesting to get a final count!!

I am even working on Christmas Day, but only for 8 hours, not 12. I'll get a break between 10:30 ish and 2:30 ish. LOL

I haven't done ANY Christmas shopping.... no time and no money... All our Christmas money went to Harley's $800 vet bill.

Danny is off Friday thru Tuesday, so he'll be coming into work with me to help out. THANK GOODNESS! LOL

I'll let y'all know how many dogs we end up with, if anybody is curious.

I'm office manager at a doggie daycare/boarding facility. It's just the owner and myself. We split up the week and work alone when we're here... so between taking care of all the dogs and running the office, keeps me very busy! I'm taking a break right now, as one of the dogs had pudding poo all over their kennel during the night, and I needed some air! LOL (NT) -- V~, 6:59:01 am, Thu, 12/20/07

People don't care if their dogs are crated for days??? Poor dogs, More people need to plan their holidays AROUND their pets! Im glad Harley is healing. I assume Bohdi is still outdoors? The temps are at least good if he has to be out there. I think maybe you can Danny should go into business and do pet sitting...you could play with and clean up after and he could walk the big ones! It sounds like you're busy enough to keep you out of trouble. But it's too bad you have to work Christmas Day..........that's no fun. I too can't believe, though, that people haven't made advance plans for their pets if they're going out of town. My kitties are a part of the family and I plan for the human and fur-covered members.
