Nope, no Theisen's around here. And Taste of the Wild certainly doesn't ring any bells, which I'm sure it would if I'd ever seen it. I've been reading on the diabetic board today, trying to get a feel, and had sneaked a peek at the food list. The problem is: my medication makes me very sleepy. And if I sit on the computer for more than maybe 10 minutes, I literally doze off. So then I get mad, get up and walk away. But I did notice that they had a lot of Purina foods listed. -- Piggy's Pad

In reply to: D 's message, "Sandy, if you get to the diabetic cat board they have foods listed and they will help you out there. Many people use Fancy Feast, several varieties are listed as low carb. If you check the Purina ingred. you are gonna see a lot of crap ingredients and grain which he doesn't need. Used to be that canned was the only way to go for less grain or no grain but now with the grainfree kibbles I'm sure people use them. I've found a grainfree that is cheaper than Evo, it's called Taste of the Wild. Do you have Theisen's stores near you? I'm sure it's other places too.
