Subject: Last time my computer crashed, Dell support was able to get me up enough to get my photos copied, thank God. Since then, I copy them to disc right away, make a double copy and put the copy in my safe deposit box at the bank. That way, If I ever lose them from home, at least I have copies there. I am so paranoid about losing them all. I was never able to figure out the right way to tranfer favorites or address book, so I just kept a printed copy of those. Hope you can figure it out though.
In reply to: Kate 's message, "I don't know what made me think of it this morning, but it dawned on me that I hadn't backed up much on this computer lately...so I decided that this weekend I'd get myself busy and do just that....
then I get to work and find out that the girl I work with, her daughter's computer crashed and she lost everything..she had a lot of pictures of her kids on the computer..so that really made me get myself working....I got home from work and started backing up everything..I think I've got it all pretty well backed up except, I can't seem to figure out how to save my "favorites" on to a disk...does anyone know how? I also couldn't get my Outlook Address book to save, but I was able to print that off....I'd appreciate any ideas on how to save my favorites list...thanks!!
