Last time my computer crashed, Dell support was able to get me up enough to get my photos copied, thank God. Since then, I copy them to disc right away, make a double copy and put the copy in my safe deposit box at the bank. That way, If I ever lose them from home, at least I have copies there. I am so paranoid about losing them all. I was never able to figure out the right way to tranfer favorites or address book, so I just kept a printed copy of those. then I get to work and find out that the girl I work with, her daughter's computer crashed and she lost everything..she had a lot of pictures of her kids on the computer..so that really made me get myself working....I got home from work and started backing up everything..I think I've got it all pretty well backed up except, I can't seem to figure out how to save my "favorites" on to a disk...does anyone know how? Kate, are you using Internet Explorer click on File, click on Import and export and follow the directions. This will put all your favorites document type format for easy backup. (NT) -- Gerry, 8:32:28 am, Sat, 10/13/07

I am using Internet Explorer Gerry...and I did as you said, but when I go into "my documents" it is showing as an "e" file (do you know what I mean?) and then when I click on it to open it says something about being an unreadable file or something....and is impossible to read..???
