Subject: Hopefully this new food may help her..it says it's high in fiber and that should help her poop be more solid and hopefully help this to not happen again...
not sure if any of you remember, but this happened to her several years ago too, but that time I caught it before it burst and Dr. Lee had to lance it then clean it out....this time it burst on it's own....she wants her stools to be solid which they are.... but maybe this new food will be better...sure hope so!!!!
In reply to: Kate (again) 's message, "Thankfully Dr. Lee was able to fit her in this morning so I cancelled my mammo and off we went to the Vets.....
believe me she was not a happy camper, but she will be ok. Dr. Lee is going to lightly sedate her and clean out and flush out the wound and then we can bring her home at 4:30 with a round of antibiotics. I feel so bad for her...I just hate it that she is sick and in pain, but thank heavens they didn't want to keep her over night...I do not sleep at all when one of those two aren't here....I just worry too darn much.....
