why did you leave me when i was just six years old
how could you leave me and mom out in the cold
well, you packed your bags anyway and started a new family
got married, had kids, started to live happily
but did you ever think what it would be like, not having a dad
well now you do, and ill tell you now, ill always be mad
because now ill only have step sisters or brothers
just because they wont have the same fathers ot mothers
and for that im gonna make you feel my pain
and how my feelings just keep crashing like a plane
when you, wanna go out and take me to a movie
then you, take me back home and you'd be
sayin youll miss me and that youve always loved me
but then you say goodbye breifly, and drive away quickly
and the feeling inside always makes me feel sickly
knowing your goin back to your new wife, new life
it kinda makes me feel like reaching for a sharp knife
but then i think, what will happen when, joel's the same age as me
are you gonna runaway and leave him just like you did with me
because, dad, youve already made one son fuckin angry
