Subject: Struggles

This rhyme goes out to kids in the struggle,
prayin' to god at night that we can stay out of trouble,
that cops won't slam us up against the rubble,
and throw us in a cell with a guy named Bubba,
to the dudes with kids,
you should have used a rubba,
if one wasn't enough then you should have went double,
raise that child well and don't cause him much trauma,
and try to show love to your baby's mama,
sometimes you just have to cope with the drama.
These next lines go out to the boys in the street,
that smoke weed as a stress relieve,
and hustle just to eat,
do what you have to do, but don't let yourselves get beat.
Some of us have blown our brains out with the heat,
I think that's how the mindless weak deal with defeat,
the strong face our problems, we trudge on,
we don't retreat,
take it day by day,
just live, think, and breathe.
