What do you write rhymes for, props?
maybe sharpen up your mind for your recording art
or maybe cuz you're bored, or losing faith in life and dont know where to start
to get back on track, me, i write rhymes for myself
some of my words get tossed to yall and other ones they get shelved
maybe i do it to keep from going insane with it
imagine inspiration then takin' away the way to create with it
pages kept dry, pages kept clean
no smudges on your hands from the pen's ink
stained with the experience of intensity of thirty years
Maybe Leader's right, i might be too dirty with this here
Ive put sweat in this, wreckin this, im a pefectionist
spit my breath in mics, let my vocal cords fight
like pits, till the dogs felt lifeless,
ressurect with a spark of a brainstorm, out to fight again
better aim than before, its all experience, memories
compounded on eachother, problems and the remedies
memoirs, biographies, end results plastered on melodies
manifests as pure energy, seen as metaphors, tricky similies
the best ones will reach further and touch your chemistry
creating emotion, harping along your heartstrings
carving pictures on your psyche, thats what art be
direct effects on your daily life, ever had it happen?
never? damn then demand more from cats that's rappin'
cant stand the norm, and yall cant dance forever
where do u go to once your muscles ache and your head hurts?
I might make the brave mice and give the tame power of fright
reverse nature with a pen, see where it all ends
See if the ones on the sideline really did have the answers
cuz i bet if tables turn, they'll grab the other plates,
they say we are what we eat, how long will it be backwards..
i dont like love, i like to please tho, turn ears into vaginas
smash heads down into pelvises, easy to fuck with your mind, huh?
