In reply to: # 's message, "Anyone else hear that a US O (Western region) has been moved to mid January?" on 18:33:14 09/06/20 Sun

January is usually the peak of cold and flu season in New England and right after the holidays when people have all been getting together with family indoors. November seems safer, as the numbers in New England have been doing better than the rest of the country.

[> [> [> [> Subject: Of course it is. But how many January events have had to be canceled due to weather in NE? A lot! And what would be the logic behind it? I haven't heard that the virus will be gone, or present only at greatly reduced levels, in January. And with over 60% of Americans saying they will refuse to have the vaccine whenever it comes out, I don't see that making much of a dent either. Unless of course the NEO made proof of vaccination a requirement for participation. That might work.
