Subject: Tintin, the belgian reporter

Was wondering if some of you went to see the new Tintin movie.

If I well understand Spielberg has mixed the different stories ( albums )to make his movie.

My father has read the albums & seen the previous movies in his childhood and past 50 y.o he still read them, of course since a long time ago I also catched the viruse.
We both watch the cartoons ( good term ? )since years on the TV.I also have seen the movies. (among them ' L'orange bleue 'litterally : ' the blue orange ' )

Also here since a few years they are several auctions on ' Tintin '

Also, do you know than one of the first albums was on soviets ?

Also than the château of Moulinsart was inspired by the château of Cheverny ?

[> Saw the preview in the movie theater yesterday! It looks like a great adventurous movie, esp. for children. And wow, Steven Spielberg *and* Peter Jackson! I don't know much about Tintin though I know the main figures (I am German and it's somewhat popular in Germany).
