Who is thinking there is DEFINITELY someone from JAG on this set?

- It was fun but yeah not overwhelming. To much going on in the AU and would rather see them as them. The end was interesting but nothing that hasn't been done before. - I'm another one who loved it! As always, Manette says it so well. Even though it was AU, I really enjoyed seeing so many of the cast in their roles. I actually thought "ingenious" having read the spoilers and comments by DB and ED. Can't wait for the next season to see how it goes. Remember, dreams can speak volumes. - see - I found the whole thing boring - hard to follow - and the characters were so similart to themselves that I often got confused - I kept thinking 1. it would have been easier in the beginning had they let us see Booth in the hospital first so we could follow it was his dream rather than him say- I had the weirdest dream. 2 I thought it would have been much more entertaining in an AU world to see them not themselves.         Yeah, I know what you mean. I vouched I would never get so involved in a show anymore since JAG. Although there are shows I follow (some real faithfully) and love, I just never let myself get sucked in SO bad as I did with JAG. And I definitely didn't want to ship anymore. But.. I screwed up. Bones happened. And I can't help it but really go into it. Though... I am more objective now and don't get upset easily anymore. But I must admit, I have loads of fun now.         see - I enjoy the show and could care less about the ship- I've always thought they were cute but could care less if they get together - so just having an excuse for them to roll around in the sheets for a few minutes didn't work for me - I just thought the storyline was too complex to follow about people I didn't care about- same names, same actors, but eh - it just didn't do it for me - Had that been a season premiere of a new show- I would never have stayed on. - This time I watched it online uninterrupted. Doing a 180 here. It really was layered and clever. My TV defintely missed some of the audio and a lot of the visual details. Having seen it again, it does hang together, and was well done. I had to be ready to accept the AU before I could 'get' the storyline. - JAG was always doing AU episodes, so this didn't bother me at all. Did anyone notice in the beginning how the times on the clock are different? 4:47 at one point and then the next shot of the clock it is 0543? It was still green, but it was a different clock. Ausiello: Warner Bros. and NBC are haggling over money. Shocking, I know. If a deal can be worked out -- and I have every reason to believe it can (and will) be -- it'll be back for a 13-episode third season. BTW, renewal and cancellation scoop is best served instantaneously, so now would be a good time to start following me on Twitter. I'm just sayin'.

- Interesting. I keep an eye on three different Chuck sites and none of them have said that renewal is official yet. I have heard rumors that there is a 13 ep order, but no word on whether Chuck will be on the fall schedule with a possibility of a back 9 ep order, or if it will be a midseason replacement. Although, if these new NBC shows bomb like I think they will, a midseason replacement could happen fairly early and it could still get the back 9.   - I agree, but what about Morgan? I would miss him if they didn't bring him back somehow. Jeff and Lester are so hilarious together that it would be a shame to lose them. I think the silliness ads some much needed levity to the show. Anna really does seem like the logical choice if they had to eliminate a regular. It�s time again for the worst...ah, best, sorry, that all the countries in the Eurovision area have to offer, so make sure to watch! (I thing it�s being broadcast online as well, check eurovisionsongcontest.com) Remember such artists as Abba, Johnny Logan, Celine Dion, not to mention foil-wrapped Ukranians and Dustin the Turkey!
As last year�s post got a little out of hand and caused a bit of a stir, I still had loads of fun watching with you guys, so if there�s any interest, maybe we could find a venue someplace else and uphold the tradition? Any ideas? Of course everyone`s invited!!!

- Well, Norway is the winner (points are still given but the diff between 1 &2 is too big now and can't be closed in anymore). My personal favorite isn't even in the top 10 (Denmark). Although Norway isn't bad, I agree that it isn'\t the best either. But since about 5 years, there is no contest anymore anyway. Its pure political and Eastern Europe seem to have an overhand. You know, at first I really liked Adam. REALLY liked Adam. Now he has gotten monotonous. His voice grates on me.
He is as many has said a "one trick pony" and he needs a new trick. I guess he has found his niche and maybe thats good, but i'm old anf my niche aint what it used to be.

I like Danny but he seems stuck in one genre too. Chris has turned out to be my favorite and I cant even tell you why. Maybe because he acts like he doesnt expect to win in the face of such competition?
So fellow AI followers. What do ya'll think? Who will go home tonight and who will be the last 2 standing?

- Never really card for Adam must of the time sounds like he is screeching to me. And he make weird faces when he sings and something about his looks bothers me but not sure what. - Adam's my fave. He's a phenom. Danny's got a great voice, but I've been off the Danny wagon for weeks. Kris madly impressed me, with Ain't no Sunshine, (totally FAB!) But nothing else until his choice of Kanye West's Heartless. It was gutsy and edgy and that will get him votes. I won't be surprised if he comes up the middle and wins it all. Danny and Adam will probably get signed win or not. Adam particularly has got people lining up to sign him, so I won't be devastated if Kris wins. - Adam is definitely my favorite. He's so versitile. I don't see him as a one trick pony at all. He can do ballads, rock and musical theatre. I can't believe no one has said anything about Bones yet! This was a pretty good ep, not the best, but very enjoyable. I loved the ending! I wonder if Bones will ever find out that he left the money on the bar.

And how about the promo for next week? I can't wait! And I can't believe there are only two eps left until next season. I read somewhere that things will be resolved within the Bones season finale. I didn't get the impression that there will be a huge cliffhanger. But then again, not a whole lot has been said, other than the big "event" between Bones & Booth...

I saw 'Wicked' last night in London and it was amazing except I found myself crying my eyes out practically the whole show!!!! - Just got a chance to watch the finale and I loved it. I watch several other shows but this has to be my favorite. The spies, the humor, the action and the cast are a perfect match to give the show just what it needs. I will be very sad if they don't renew. Chuck wouldn't have known what to do with his life had he been just a "normal" guy. Now that he has the intersect again, it gives the writers a whole new direction for a new season. I just endured a pretty big cliffhanger at the end of Private Practice. Why must "they" do that! I mean, I get the reason, really. It sure makes a person eager for the start of the next season. Meanwhile, though...Aargh!

I was going over my very favorite movies and decided it says a lot about my personality. Has anyone ever done a study on this? In my case, it probably says I'm schizoid. My fav movies are all over the place. Here they are not in any particular order:

Pride & Prejudice (1995 mini-series) I was confined to couch last night and watched all 5 hours. I am a humungous Lizzie and Darcy shipper.

Casa Blanca - another love story with humor and action.

Ok, these two are consistent but then:
Once Upon a Time in the West - brilliant, violent spaghetti western. Huh? Lonesome Dove and Stagecoach are great too in this genre.

Then there are Laura (film noir) and Rebecca - quasi love stories but mostly mysteries.

Field of Dreams? baseball fantasy. Heck, I'm not even a huge baseball fan.

Love Actually and Victor Victoria - funny, funny comedies. Animal House also makes it.

That's off the top of my head or somewhere embedded in the depths of my brain.

- It probably says I love happily ever after (HEA) since regardless of genre they all end happily. Westerns: Westward the Women. Great old flick w/ Robert Taylor & even though a few folks die, in the end everyone is HEA. Film Noire: No Man of Her Own w/ Barbara Stanwyck. Despite the dark theme & the death of the mother in law, it too has a HEA. Then you have films like: Sabrina, Inn of the Sixth Happiness, Silk Stockings, Rennaisance Man, I could go on. - I am all over the place when it comes to movies. It greatly depends on the mood I am in. I love the oldies like Doris Day - The Glass Bottom Boat or Cary Grant - That Touch of Mink, The Day the Earth Stood Still (the original) and The Blob. Then I might jump in for movies like The Guardian, the original Fast and the Furious and I just watched and loved Eagle Eye. I also enjoyed Housesitter and Dirty Rotton Scoundrels. - My tastes are all over the place. I'm not sure what it says about me, but I'll take a shot at it. Most movies I love are romances, the classics and the more recent movies. (I love Rebecca too!) Okay- Finally caught an episode - the one where the pot farmer has anxiety disorder -

I managed to follow it even though I've never seen an episode before - but in the end - I have NO idea what the significance of the missing bath towels in the suitcase meant. If someone could please enlighten me.

Also- anyone have any idea WHO the sir was on the phone? I figure I should know but I don't.

Bones fans -- please enlighten me -- I don't watch, but just noticed an advert (I had TV on silent as I was exercising while mindlessly staring at it) that Stephen Fry is now in it. What part does he play? I'm SO happy to see him in something -- I've always appreciated him -- way back from his days in 'Jeeves and Wooster' inside -- mj, 08:06:48 04/28/09 Tue [13]
He and Hugh Laurie were a comedy duo, for years, and their portrayals of Wodehouse's Bertie Wooster, the English dandy and Jeeves, the intelligent butler, are classic and hysterical. It's worth renting the series of this if you are up for some extreme wit and classic humor. They also acted in the 'Blackadder' (Rowan Atkinson)comedies and had some of their most memorable characters in these, and, of course, had a few seasons together as 'Fry and Laurie' doing skits together that had me rolling with laughter. HL made it with 'House' and now, I hope Fry has some success in Bones. I'll start watching now -- what season does he come in?

- The reason I started watching House from the first episode, is because of Hugh Laurie. I've been a massive fan for years. Blackadder is my all time favourite. Steven Fry is brill, and I've loved him for the same reasons. He was also great playing Oscar Wilde in the movie with Eliz Ehle. I don't think he is going to be a regular on Bones though.       - The reason you may not be able to remember him Gibs, is that he was SO good at playing other characters. Honestly, I didn't recognize him right off. If you ever get a chance to see BA again, you'll see them both and appreciate how bloody brilliant they were. BL is one of the very few funny shows that have made me and my DH suddenly burst out laughing. One of my fave eps was the Dictionary one, when BA was trying to rewrite it. - Most likely, it's a brain tumor or hemorrage. I myself thought with all the foreshadowing this season as to his hallucinations and back aches.... a neck hernia in which a blood vessel and/or nerve is stuck which gives him not enough oxygen. I just saw a preview for the new season of ARMY WIVES on Lifetime. It looks very interesting. Without giving too much away, it looks like Denise's tryst will have reprocussions I personally didn't think of happening. Season 3 premieres June 7 and I'm looking forward to it. Anyone else heard or seen anything? I'm curious.
