It's all here!
Movies! TV Shows! Books! Music!
This is the place to discuss books, movies, music and tv shows other then JAG. This is your board! The structure is fairly loose but because not everyone watches the same tv shows, please limit discussion to one thread per episode.
We welcome your ideas on how this board should go. This is moderated the same as the HarmyBoard.

Well, I'm still confused. I mean, I know these episodes are about revealing the depth of the tragedy of the plane crash, but it seems a little hard to follow. (NT) -- Dancer - I am all for an "alternate timeline" when it enhances a story. But does this enhance it?, 03:01:29 10/06/12 Sat
Maybe he was really hard to kill... like a zombie... (NT) -- The Chief (I don't watch, but I couldn't help adding my 2cents LOL), 16:46:59 10/07/12 Sun
Saw this news today, and to borrow a word from the "Moon River" song- what a *heartbreaker*! I had read that he was in his "final days", but just didn't want to believe that we were about to lose another legend. I posted the following link a few years ago- some here may remember it- and in his honor, I'd like to post it again: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C3zk1aNTQ3c It may be three months early, but IMHO, it's worth seeing now. What talents! RIP Andy and brother Bob, and condolences to his remaining brothers Dick and Don and all the family. (NT) -- Matou/Carol, 22:00:19 09/26/12 Wed
Oh, phooey- the link didn't show up as a "hyper' link. Let me try again........ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C3zk1aNTQ3c (NT) -- Matou/Carol, 22:26:02 09/26/12 Wed
I have it DVR'd but I havent watched it yet. Life has been so busy, but its so nice to have the energy to handle 'busy' ;) (NT) -- mkim Planning on catching up tonight., 15:01:06 09/19/12 Wed
All CASTLE Fans head over to my Voy board for a link to the Promo. You will not be disappointed. http://www.voy.com/228739/ (NT) -- Hope, 10:03:09 08/28/12 Tue
Having Nanci on the first time (Washington Holiday) was probably one of those cute things a producer can promote. Creating "Singer" fit their purpose at the time. Elevating her to continuing character was a compromise imho. (Inside . . .) -- Dancer, 02:44:52 08/04/12 Sat
The world was blessed to have Phyllis Diller around for *95* years. Bob Hope lived to be 100- who says laughter doesn't keep you young? Notice how all the great comedians of that generation live to a very old age? I grew up with them & will miss their humor. Sadly, I read where actor William Windom passed away at age 88, as well. Sigh....it's tough to know so many of the great ones are leaving us. (NT) -- Matou/Carol, 21:58:11 08/21/12 Tue
You're so right, mj. Any "original trekkies" here will certainly remember William Windom as Commodore Matt Decker in the episode "The Doomsday Machine". I thought he was great in that, and was the first time I had seen him on television. And of course, as Araninda pointed out, his performance as "Doc Hazlett" on MSW. RIP William Windom. (NT) -- Matou/Carol, 20:53:35 08/22/12 Wed
I love that song by Take That at the Closing Ceremonies - "Rule the World." How moving and somehow so appropriate to the evening. I mean, the story of the song doesn't really have much to do with the Olympics, but the mood was so right for the moment. I loved it. (NT) -- Dancer, 01:28:36 08/16/12 Thu
Royal Pains, White Collar, Necessary Roughness, Suits. (Do you think I have a thing for USA Network or what?) Project Runway and occasionally Rizzoli & Isles. R & I was much better before they decided ONLY women were watching.) (NT) -- Dancer - Love Harvey and Mike, 03:08:47 07/21/12 Sat
I laughed, I cried, I nodded in resignation... -- The Chief, 00:52:10 07/13/12 Fri [13]
(Waving back to Cece.... Hi!) Yes, it was if they had JAG in mind when they wrote it, eh? ChrisK, I agree, there were some good eps in S7, and "Adrift 1/2" will always be favorites for me. I think TPTB did try hard to re-energize the show, and part of that longer-term success was due to a variety of factors.... -- The Chief (inside), 09:04:27 07/13/12 Fri
Grey's Anatomy has been so many different shows that it's sometimes hard to tell. I gave up watching it several years ago when they flipped everybody's storylines just once too often. I mean, really, how many chiefs-of-staff can they have? It worked on MASH because it was military and everybody got a turn, but in a real hospital . . . ? I watched their version of "What if?" and thought of what that show could've been, too. (NT) -- Dancer, 02:02:25 07/17/12 Tue
