- I only saw part of one episode of Doogie Howser (the one DJE was in), and very small bits and pieces of How I Met Your Mother, but he did a great job when he guest starred on Glee. He's a very talented "triple threat" (acting, singing, and dancing). I just finished watching the Tony Awards where he did a great job hosting again. Very funny and talented guy. - I enjoyed the movie. Very fast-paced, kept my interest, & didn't figure out who the bad guy was until the very end. I loved the countdown clock that they kept showing, & it was nice to see her with her action moves (I think I read she did most of her own stunts & did most of the fighting scenes). I read an interview and her and her husband are working on a few more ideas for films.         and don't forget DPB and CBS are in a law suit of NCIS LA - I'm not sure if it's really CBS or DPB - I suspect thats more passing the buck as DPB created JAG for NBC originally and then CBS picked it up after NBC cancelled it. I would think any production company could pick up a reunion movie once CBS cancelled it. - Haven't seen the movie as it hasn't come onin the UK yet, but her other movies have aired here, so I'm hopeful. I love her effusiveness when she tweets about it and also that she enjoyed working with her husband and she's so proud of him. She's such a sweetheart. It's so great to see her career being red hot. As much as the whole DPB debacle makes me crings, he was genius in casting her in JAG. Somedays I would love to see a JAG re-union and other days, I feel it may spoil the 'magic'.   - It's late because of Emily's pregnancy. They will only film 6 eps before her maternity leave. So, rather than show 6 eps and then have a LONG break until after Christmas, they are delaying the start. So Bones will have a normal Christmas break, and not a long protracted one. CB and the Army Wives Finale -- Araninda, 17:55:22 06/13/11 Mon [12]
I'm not a huge fan of "Army Wives" but I did watch the finale on Sunday. CB was absolutely stunning in the gold shimmering gown. And when her character Denise danced with her onscreen hubby, I couldn't help it -- my mind was picturing her in that gown -- dancing with a tall dark Navy Captain in his mess dress. Sigh!

I realize she probably won't be paired with DJE again in a series, so I'm ok with her moving on to other romantic roles. But honestly, I have never seen the chemistry between her and the actor who plays Frank. Just my humble opinion.

- What bothered me about that scene is the fact that actor who plays Frank is shorter than CB. They looked ridiculous dancing together, & I just with whoever was in charge of the casting on AW would've at least gotten some as tall if not a little taller than CB. The dude that plays Frank is an inch shorter, & since I don't like the actor or the character, I agree with the no chemistry. He's just a total turn-off IMHO.... - I agree with you about the low chemistry between Frank and Denise, but I've sort of accepted it. They arent what you'd call a 'hot couple'. The one love scened they had, Frank was on the bottom and I swear, poor Frank nearly disapeared.. LOL. I like the show, I watch for all of the characters, I'm frustrated with one or the other of them, at times, but that it seems to work for me. - Funny because I got my gf and her son to watch AW's 4 remaining eps. They love it and will start watching the show probably buy the earlier seasons. My son's friend remarked the actress Denise is way older than me but she is so hot and I would go for her.LOL! ITA CB looked stunning in all her scenes but what a total knockout in that gold gown. - I like the series for all of the characters - Frank is not a favorite (shrug); too bad the next season will be the final season but having announced it well in advance gives the scriptwriters time to do a really good job the last season (definitely unlike the last season of JAG).   - Uh they never announced anything that next season will be the last. They ended the season on a cliffhanger of being disbanned, doesn't mean it's going to happen. AW is lifetime's highest rated most successful show ever and all they did was announce they were renewed for season 6. No where was it stated or reported that next season is the last. My daughter had me watch a new favorite show of hers called 'Southland' and I saw 'Keeter', and so many other actors that played on JAG. Even the lead role is played by someone who I clearly remember from an episode or 2 from JAG == he played a Marine who misrepresented receiving a medal of honor. Funny how the world of TV goes round. I feel cheated. All the build up and we get the bedroom door locked in our faces for the HMS. I mean Emily and Hart kind of ruined the suprise months ago so you knew they were gonna do IT. Still not the best finale yet.

SVU was uber disappointing.

Castle, hands down winner of this week for me. Still rewatch and cry everytime I see the hangar scene.

Mariska Hargitay only renewed her contract for 13 episodes and 9 partial. Her character is taking a backseat to a new lead female detective. (rumor is it is Jennifer Love Hewitt) I just vomitted in my mouth a little.
Christopher Meloni did NOT renew his contract. This is a sad day. I loved that show back in the day before they decided to make it the "lets see if we can hire the best guest star just to get them an emmy who cares about the writing show"

- SVU is the only L&O we watch. It is not as formulaic, and the stories are usually more compelling. I will miss MH and CM. JLH doesn't seem like the right choice. I do understand why the actors might want a change after so long playing the same role. It can't be that interesting for them, and doesn't test their acting chops. But it's sad anyway. - I read somewhere that reality shows draw such a vastly large audience than all the classic detective/crime-shows and really any genre -- sit-coms, other dramas -- that the network execs just can't seem to help it when they pull the plug on shows. Did anyone see the Steelers in the audience last night. James Farrior, Franco Harris, and Jerome Bettis were all there in the front row to wave their Terrible Towels for Hines and Kym. I voted as many times as I could...from my cell, my son's cell and online. By the time I got to my husband's cell, I couldn't get through. I also tried from my home phone but the lines were busy. This could be a good thing!

Fingers and toes are crossed. Hopefully, I will get a chance to catch some of the results show tonight from work.

As for the ship, I've read a couple of different interviews with the producer, and I've been surprised by some of his answers. Smallville series finale -- JAG Junkie (Ronda)--on a Superman high!, 23:59:41 05/13/11 Fri [8]
Okay, I realize I may be the only Smallville fan around here, but since this show ran 10 years like a certain other TV show, and since the big 2 hour finale was tonight, I feel like someone should at least mention it and that would be me.

If only all shows could have the benefit of having a whole season to plan their ending. It still kills me to think what could have been with JAG, but I digress.

Back to Smallville. In a nutshell, the finale was all kinds of awesome!!!! I'm in fangirl heaven here and I don't know how I'm going to be able to calm down enough to go to sleep tonight! LOL This was what fans have been waiting 10 years for: seeing Clark Kent finally embrace his destiny and become Superman. Complete with John Williams' music from the movies! I'm sure this was probably the most expensive episode on the CW network ever!

They brought back all the important characters, resolved all the major storylines, tied up loose ends (although I'm sure if I thought about it long enough I could probably come up with a mystery paperclip or two--wink, wink), gave the shippers want they wanted without going too far off course, and even made it work with the way the Superman mythology is supposed to go forward from this point. Well, sort of. It works for me, at least. I was worried when I heard all the talk about Lois and Clark NOT getting married in the finale, and rumors about him being destined to be alone, but the seven year flash forward fixed all that. Speaking of which, I'm so glad that they clarified the whole "Jimmy" issue for viewers who didn't catch the name and therefore didn't understand what happened when he died two seasons ago.

I'm truly sad that this show is over, but I am so happy with the ending! And I look forward to seeing Tom (Clark) and Erica (Lois) in whatever they act in next.

- One more thing. I'm sooo glad they didn't do a mindwipe on Lois and make her forget Clark's secret. It's bad enough that they did it to Lex. I was worried that they were going to try too hard to fit everything to Superman canon and make her forget, so I'm relieved that they left well enough alone! I don't like the way they changed the judging to have the 15 points given by the judges. The viewers don't mean anything now. If they wanted a professionaly judge show then do that. The viewers have the right to pick who they want in spite of talent. Of cause a young pro actors who dances for a living will be better than someone who is older and not a pro dancer. Don't have the judges influence the outcome at the end of the season like that. I thought Ralph did as well as Hines but got blasted.

I think my local broadcast cut off the very end of the episode. Bones was reaching for Booth's hand or arm, and the next thing I knew the local news was on. Grrr!! So, did I miss anything? Maybe a sweet look between the two of them? I know I can watch the ending online tomorrow, but I want to know now! LOL

Even if you don't read spoilers, you knew from last week's promo that someone might be lost. So, were you surprised? I had my theory and I'm relieved to know I was exactly right. lol

I really enjoyed the episode last night! So many aspects of it were very well done, and funny. Doris Roberts cracks me up! And Alex with the African kids made me smile!

I wonder if Meredith will get in trouble. Do you think it was fair to do what she did?

What do you think the chances are of Meredith and Derek adopting one of the African babies?

Looks like the big wedding is next week, I can't wait!

- I think it was criminal what Meridith did. My husband is a participant in a control group for a heart med. If someone screwed with the results, it could be a danger for him and other participants, not to mention a collosal waste of time. (This is like the heart stealing theme from earlier seasons. Saw some spoilers that I'll post inside.

Really liked this last episode, and it looks like the finale could be really interesting.

Loved the whole storyline and was really interesting and I thought really showed both main characters humanity in the way they related to the young girl and her parents.

This is the Bones I liked and could relate to.
