- I enjoyed this episode too, I was a little perturbed with Bones for half a minute when I thought she wasnt going to help their intern. He was such a sweet hard working guy.   - I was annoyed with her too. Glad they didn't leave it that way. I know she is all analytical all the time but if they balance that most time but if they hadn't shown she gave money I would have been really mad after she talks about all the money she now had.   - Who said it was *three* contributors? Cam just said there were enough anonymous donations for three scholarships. That could mean that there were two large donations, or 12 donations.     - There were a couple of places where I had to look away. About the cats. Bones said they were feral. But if that were the case, they would have all run away when all those people got there. We've had some feral cats in our neighborhood, and they scram when they even *see* a person. Those cats eating the body were definately domesticated. I thought this episode was wonderful. It really made you think about how different things were back then. I thought it was very well done.

- Funny thing is that I kept comparing the story to the JAG flashbacks and found this story lacking. I liked the idea, but there was something about the telling of it that didn't draw me in the way that Ghosts of Christmas Past or Each of Us Angels did. Now that I think about it, maybe it was lack of Harm. LOL. That being said, the character that really threw me was Frank! At first, I didn't recognize him. - Me too shippermom....It was inspiring...the slight edge of Jag is always Harm and Mac but AW is equal footing with the quality.Im leaning slightly on AW on this one because it was meaningful. Im a bit bitter with DB on their flashbacks because its cheap crumbs for the shippers by killing off Beverly and Jenny Lake and Harm Sr. Our own talented fanfic writers can come up with ways to make the magic work for DJE and CB and TPTB pales in comparison.LOL! - I loved last nights episode for what it was, a story about how Army wives coped during WWII. There was alot of tradtion woven into the way the wives saw things, that made it very authentic for me. It was a lesson in what was great about the US back then & what still needed to be corrected. Pam's 1940's counterpart broke my heart, she was great. AND I have to say, after 'Dale' was killed. I was kinda hoping we'd see CB's 'Hazel' at the very end of the ep.,find a guy who really looked familiar waiting in the wings for her, even if it was a one shot cameo, it would have been awesome.   - I was watching the Ep with my kids, and they just loved it. When CB came in with the uniform on, Cynthia said, "OH cool! She's the one in the service!" - For me it was compelling and entertaining.I love that its not just any flashback but it gives some background of Fort Marshall and it ties in to the present from the hump bar,Betty and it was like full circle to see a pregant Pam kinda like the pregnancy in the pilot ep. I love how consistent AW is with their eps. plus audiences enjoy it and ratings agree and critics loved it.The only missing factor is any Emmy. - I love Band of Brothers. I read the book, and also have read Dick Winters's book and Buck Compton's book. I'll be interested in this latest project, but I also feel that a movie or mini-series is only as good as the written material it adapts. Sounds like I'd better check out Mr. Sledge's book. This is so awesome! Someone has written a Star Wars tribute set to various John Williams songs (most are from non Star Wars movies). Some of the lyrics are hilarious! But the most amazing part is that he sang all the parts and layered the tracks together, in effect turning himself into an acappella ensemble. Unlike so many of the homemade videos on YouTube, this guy can actually sing! You have to see this!

I know that I have been watching GL since I was a child. I remember my my grandparents coming to uor house every Friday for lunch. They would sit with my mother and watch GL when it was on for 15 minutes. They were so excited when it went to 30 minutes. I know it's just a soap, but it will be missed when it goes off the air on Friday. Anyone else have memories like mine?

- Watched it most of my life until about 6 or 7 years ago, got sick of the way everyone on the soaps has to break up then make up and break up again. - I watched in during my college years a long time ago. It eased my soap opera craving after Peyton Place went off the air. But after I graduated from college, I started working and couldn't watch (these were the days before VCRs, DVDs and TiVo). Several years later, when I was finally able to tape it, I found that I really had lost interest. But it was a great show. . . .IMO the best of all the daytime dramas. - I became a GL fan in college when a group of girls congregated in the lounge to watch every day. It was in the heyday of Nora and Quentin. Then I fell in love with Josh and Reva and became hooked myself until the mid-nineties when I gave it up. It's too bad that it's going off the air. - Literally, GL has been a part of my life since birth. My dad watched during a break in classes when he was in college. Roger and Holly were his fav couple, so I was named after Blake. I started watching myself when I was 11 through college until I got a full time job (though I catch it on holidays, maternity leave and recently on You Tube). Just a few discussion questions.

Do you think CJ's reaction to her diabetes is realistic?
If not, what should her reaction have been?

Denise is coming back as a more recognizable character
(IMHO) and getting her professional feet under her. What do you think of Denise as an EMT?

Denise and Frank have mended their relationship, what is different about their attitudes toward each other? OR do you think they've both taken a step backward?

About Pam, should she press her Special Forces husband to reveal how he truly sustained his injuries, or should she give Chase a chance to heal, before she presses him further?(BTW, Chase's reunion with his kids had me welling up)

Do you think its wise for Roxy to have a baby now, while she knows her husband will be with her, as opposed to waiting and perhaps having her baby alone while her husband is in a war zone?
Was Trevor being overbearing on this subject, was he being fair?

- I like what the writers have done with the Frank/Denise relationship. One exchange says it all: Frank - I'm proud of you. Denise - I'm proud of me too." He's gotten past the "little woman" view of his wife, and she's gotten past the, "Don't want to be a doormat, so I think I'll go nuts and reinvent myself" stage. Did anyone watch the repeat of the pilot ep of Glee last week on Fox? It originally aired a few months ago, but as part of the buildup to the premiere ep this coming Wednesday, Fox aired it again last Wednesday and Friday, complete with a new scene of Mr. Schuster singing and playing the guitar.

I just watched the pilot again and I am so psyched for the new ep this week! I'm a sucker for musicals and this one doesn't disappoint! All those great songs from the 70s and 80s make it even better!

I know some people say they hate musicals where they just stop and sing for no reason, but this is different. It's not overloaded with songs and the ones that are there actually fit. It's a glee club after all. They're supposed to sing. And the talent level on this show is top notch.

So, is anyone else watching this?

- I did catch a few of the episodes just prior to Army Wives and I noticed something...I wonder if anyone else has. The actor who portrays "Deb's" former love interest. Grayson Kent A lawyer at the firm where she works. There's something about this guys eyes and manner that really reminds me of DJE's Harm, around the 3rd and 4th season on JAG. Especially the emotional scene, the fantasy scene she had with him in which she told him who she really was. Its probably just me. Okay, maybe you're one of the million people who have already watched this on YouTube, but I just now heard about Nora the Piano Cat today when she was featured in my local newspaper. This cat belongs to a piano teacher, who noticed that the cat's noise on the piano actually had a strong musical quality to it. A Lithuanian composer actually took video footage of the cat, composed an orchestral accompaniment, and through the magic of edited video, Nora was able to "perform" with the orchestra. The result is truly amazing! In my life I have had many cats who have walked up and down the piano keys, but this is far beyond that. As a pianist myself, I can vouch for the musicality of what this cat is doing. You have to see it to believe it!
