It's all here!
Movies! TV Shows! Books! Music!
This is the place to discuss books, movies, music and tv shows other then JAG. This is your board! The structure is fairly loose but because not everyone watches the same tv shows, please limit discussion to one thread per episode.
We welcome your ideas on how this board should go. This is moderated the same as the HarmyBoard.

United States Marine Corp history -- Judy Tait, 22:40:10 08/21/13 Wed [7]
Thank you, everyone, for your input! (NT) -- Judy Tait, 14:19:34 08/22/13 Thu
From "Dead Poets Society": "We're not laughing at you, we're laughing near you." From Star Wars: (I couldn't pick one, just throw in the whole script! LOL) From Dirty Dancing: "Nobody puts Baby in a corner." From "National Treasure": "We're more like... treasure protectors." Oh, gosh... now I need to decide which of these movies I want to watch tonight! (NT) -- The Chief, 20:13:01 07/20/13 Sat
Oh I agree that the Puerto Rican guy's voice was very much like Pavarotti's. I'd say the New Yorker was the most like my lovely Placido. I'm not sure but I think the Korean guy had the weakest voice, as did Jose Carreras. Still fab though. I'd love to hear what Forte does next. They do sound ready to go, so to speak. I'm thinking that they might very well be in local opera groups. Now, maybe, they'll get the break they need. Yeah, I too like the joke. It fit so well....LOL. Thanks JJ for your input. Never cared for the show and I echo Araninda and the rest. (NT) -- T2, 00:56:31 05/11/13 Sat
Movie Sequel Fantasies -- Araninda, 16:09:28 04/04/13 Thu [20]
Could Casablanca be remade? Of course it could. It could be redone to more realistic, better dialogue, on location rather than film sets, an actor much more handsome than Bogie, etc. But the reasons Casablanca is so much loved, and so iconic, are ephemeral. It would be like trying to capture lightening in a bottle. Casablanca is a movie of its time and place, its actors and the cadenceses of their voices, and of course, the famous lines that everyone knows. Those lines couldn't be repeated without sounding parodic. No Casablanca, no sequel . Just in our minds. (NT) -- Cece, 14:33:52 04/05/13 Fri
I saw his first show and thought he really popped with Dana Delany. Looks like a good relationship brewing there. Time to clean out the DVR. :-D (NT) -- Dancer, 02:15:30 03/17/13 Sun
