It's all here!
Movies! TV Shows! Books! Music!
This is the place to discuss books, movies, music and tv shows other then JAG. This is your board! The structure is fairly loose but because not everyone watches the same tv shows, please limit discussion to one thread per episode.
We welcome your ideas on how this board should go. This is moderated the same as the HarmyBoard.

Thanks Cece..Im glad you brought this up after so much hype and box office power of this film. I agree its a different experience in IMAX and Ledger was indeed spellbinding. If he wins he will be the 1st posthumously since Peter Finch in Network(1976)...Im a Batman fan since I was 12. I confess I saw all the films at the WB private screenings in Burbank and even met the voices of the anime series. When Jag folks ask me why I dont hang out much in the Jag boards its because Im at the Batman boards...but the movie didnt really blew me away likewise with actor Ledger. -- Paris....INside, 03:09:55 09/24/08 Wed
Well I have to say that my viewing was that of a comic-book outsider. I did see Superman many years ago, and loved the movie score because my fitness class instructor used it...lol. Also, Margot Kidder had an account at the bank I worked at, and I spoke to her on the phone before she became famous. (See...told you my level of interest wasn't that high.) Many thanks Cece for this fun thread....[ this is for Brooke on your questions] -- Paris, 00:58:33 09/25/08 Thu
This video is for Cece and others who had a problem with Batman's voice because that was the main complaint by many so fans made a spoof on this....Brooke I forgot to answer some of your questions...INside -- Paris, 01:18:37 09/25/08 Thu
Thumbs up on all the videos. Loved how the joker could not understand what Batman is saying.LMAO. (NT) -- batman fanatic, 14:55:39 09/25/08 Thu

Inside...... -- mkim, 23:29:59 09/21/08 Sun
I dont watch TV these days except for Food Network,Discovery and the news. Im not even a lifetime kind of gal but its really because of Bell...I miss Harm and Mac and my love for the military that I watch AW. You can appreciate the struggles and joy of being married to a soldier and I like the bond of women though they live separate and different lives. I cant imagine I used to watch so many shows from ER,Jag,Alias,Friends,Ed,Felicity,Farscape,West Wing,The Guardian,Gilmore Girls,X-Files,NYPD Blue etc...so no CB means I got no more show left.LOL! (NT) -- Paris....missing Jag but not the torture from DB...., 01:52:25 09/24/08 Wed

ACCCCKKK....popcorn at an opera!!! Oh the horror, the horror! If you found a way to get a bucket of popcorn in most operas, you'd be stared down by a thousand pairs of opera glasses...LOL. Seriously, I hate food noises at the movies, particularly if there's music involved. I am an opera fan, but can't afford the good seats anymore. (NT) -- Cece, 19:22:45 09/23/08 Tue
That's really kind of you mj. However, not all DVDs from England work over here. My sister sent me "Dinner Ladies" and I had trouble seeing it. Let me check it out. If some people get it here, I should be able to. But thank you for the offer. (NT) -- Cece, 21:55:07 09/22/08 Mon

OK, OK, you folks have given me SO MUCH to think about! I am going to have to watch the ep again. Right after I come back from my Friday golf game. How I love this show! Am SO glad H and A are now at least looking at each other. As I said previously, I still have hopes for Zack with prostheses. (NT) -- can j - who also loves being retired LOL, 11:54:26 09/19/08 Fri

It took me a minute to realize you were referring to David B. and not DPB...LOL. I could live FOREVER without a Navy officer that looked like Donnie B. (NT) -- dg, 23:30:03 09/17/08 Wed

The first song that I thought of is Rod Stewart's "Forever Young". It's also the *only* song I've ever liked by him- but that's just me. It runs approx. 4 mins. & 5 secs. I would say it's more poignant than "fun", though. (NT) -- Matou/Carol, 20:19:58 09/08/08 Mon
Okay- Here are three more I've thought of. These are more on the "fun" side: Sammy Davis Jr.'s "The Candy Man", "Pac Man Fever" by Buckner & Garcia, or really silly- "The Curly Shuffle" by Jump 'N the Saddle Band. (Have to be a Three Stooges fan to appreciate that one-LOL!) Anyway- those seem to have a somewhat child-like theme to them. Have I scared you yet? LOL! (NT) -- Matou/Carol, 20:56:54 09/08/08 Mon
One more- "Together (Havin' A Ball)" by The Partridge Family. Only a little over 2 minutes though. Okay- stop rolling eyes now- I'm done! LOL! (NT) -- Matou/Carol, 21:10:55 09/08/08 Mon
If you have iTunes, go to the "genre" list and click on "children's music". I browsed through some of those-some are not very long, though. Sandra Boynton has a song called "Bad Babies" which sounds cute despite the title. Another artist "Raffi" has some cute ones too. (NT) -- Matou/Carol, 21:34:03 09/09/08 Tue
