Since I see that peopleon this board discuss TV and movies other that just DJE, etc., let me just recommend that people see a new movie that just wrapped in my hometown, "Uncommon". - I am in a wheelchair, so I am usually easy to spot, but in this movie, Erik Estrada's character's wife is in a wheelchair too. The lady that played his wife is not really in a wheelchair though, just for the movie. I have short hair. The movie is faith-based and will be shown mostly in churches for a while. - I like Steven Culp - he's always done great work. And who else has played BOTH JFK *and* RFK (twice!)? And he's the only actor to have had FOUR ongoing supporting roles on TV at the same time. Anyway, I don't even know the show you're talking about, but if I did, I would enjoy seeing him. Having not been a shipper, the Webb/Mac thing didn't bother me in the same way as it did other fans. - King and Maxwell are on TNT. It's a pretty good show, based on characters written by David Baldacci. Ex-secret service members that are now private investigators, plus one is also an attorney! Throw in a couple of FBI agents that are always turning up. Takes place in Washington DC. Catherine Bell has already been a guest on the show, played King's former girlfriend. I didn't realize until today that Amazon doesn't sell to Australia but I do know that my books on Apple are doing quite well in Austrailia - my second biggest market - bigger than the UK -

- My own opinion is that Cote has been on for many seasons and would probably like to do other roles, broaden her horizons so to speak. I wonder if those of you who liked Glee were as shocked as I was at the death of 31 yr old Cory Monteith. He was very talented and it is such a tragedy that after pulling himself out of a serious drug addiction from his teen years, he finds success and a beatiful girlfriend, and dies so young.         I know -- where were his 'mentors' and anyone who could be 'there' for him in the case of beng tempted to re-use, like he did? I know a person can never be watched 100% of the time, but I DO wonder just how supportive all these award-winning show creators , writers, producers, and the so-called PTB are to the young fledgling talents .         If you've given her a solid background and continuing support, it's the best you can do. CM's troubles started when he was 13, or maybe before. His family did an intervention when he was 19. The die was pretty much cast before he became famous. But acting did help him get out of the mess, which is why he supported Project Limelight, which gets poor East side kids into the performing arts and away from hanging out with the wrong crowd. These three young men are impressive. Each voice has a lovely quality, far far better than Paul Potts from Britain's got talent a few years ago.   - How coincidental! I was just listening to Potts vs. Pavarotti singing Nessun Dorma earlier this evening because it is being included (instrumentally) in my kids' marching band show this fall.       - When things start to gel (about September) there will be something on YouTube. We have a kid who plays electric guitar who is doing the Jeff Beck version for us with the band behind him.   - Oh I agree that the Puerto Rican guy's voice was very much like Pavarotti's. I'd say the New Yorker was the most like my lovely Placido. I'm not sure but I think the Korean guy had the weakest voice, as did Jose Carreras. Still fab though. I'd love to hear what Forte does next. They do sound ready to go, so to speak. I am laying the blame for my house not getting cleaned this weekend at the feet of Donnie Joe & Etta and Michelle & Kirk. Manette (Molly) I couldn't put "Crazy Little Thing called Love" down. And when I finished it I downloaded ChrisK's "Honeymoon for One" and couldn't put it down.         Let me explain one of the reasons it's important to authors- Amaon functions with many different algorithyms- one is for new readers - let's say molly's book has 25 reveiws in one week - then when someone buys my book amazons algorithms will tell my buyer - if you liked this book you may like molly's book. And visa versa. What a wonderful actress, who played such an iconic role as the lovely Edith Bunker. It's so sad to hear of her passing. Although she was in the public eye, you didn't see bad behaviour as with so many young (too young in my opinion), actors and actresses who find fame too easily and too early, and can't handle this tough profession.

Jean Stapleton could and did, and with class to match her talent. I think everyone loved Edith. Thank you Jean.

John M. Jackson will reprise his role of Judge Advocate General A.J. Chegwidden in the JAG spin-off�s 10th season finale, which finds a federal witch hunt threatening the future of Gibbs� gang.

�We needed a lawyer, a really good lawyer, to assist Gibbs and the team in the finale,� NCIS executive producer Gary Glasberg tells TVLine exclusively.

Enter Chegwidden, now retired from the Navy, who will step away from his powerful D.C. law firm to help Gibbs & Co. in the episode. Glasberg calls the outing a �nail-biter which will hopefully leave fans stunned all summer long.�

Fans of JAG will remember Chegwidden as Mac and Harm�s boss � and sometime father figure � whose gruff demeanor belied a deep devotion to his team. He was in charge during the Season 8 episodes that introduced Mark Harmon�s Gibbs and served as NCIS� planted pilot.

Since leaving JAG in 2004, Jackson has guest-starred on series including Bones, Private Practice, CSI, Castle and Perception.

The retired Navy big shot is just one of the surprise guest-stars who�ll show up during the eventful season-ender, which airs Tuesday, May 14 (8/7c).

- Could Casablanca be remade? Of course it could. It could be redone to more realistic, better dialogue, on location rather than film sets, an actor much more handsome than Bogie, etc. But the reasons Casablanca is so much loved, and so iconic, are ephemeral. It would be like trying to capture lightening in a bottle. Casablanca is a movie of its time and place, its actors and the cadenceses of their voices, and of course, the famous lines that everyone knows.   - Ooh, I loved To Sir with Love (I loved the song too.) There was an attraction between Sir and the young teacher, but the time might have been too early to really delve into interracial marriages. In the mid 1960s in the UK, immigration had been expanding rapidly, and there was still a lot of hostility. Remember the black kid who dad died and the kids won't actually attend the funeral? - The American President is one movie that I always thought should have had a sequel. Did Sydney and Andrew Shepherd marry? And if so, how would she handle being First Lady? Everyone know what a "flash mob" is? A group of people show up in a place and do something totally out of place or special - like perform a song from a Broadway musical in a shopping mall food court at a busy time.

Wasn't worth it to stay up & watch the 3rd ep. I have been watching this show since the beginning. Its a totally different show. Just cant get into all these new people and frankly i dont care about them. I hate it when a show loses most of the original cast, cause thats when it goes downhill. JMHO.

- I certainly would agree with you, BT. It was heartbreaking to watch the two episodes, but the new additions could be very interesting. What do you think of the new judges???

I haven't watched it in a few years, but am back into it because they've added Keith Urban to the panel. (Ooo Yeah!) Didn't think I'd care about the talent, but am finding myself really enjoying it so far. Just finished Hollywood week this week, going to Vegas next week, then they go LIVE after that. I do think a girl is going to win it this year.

Anyway - are we up to talking about Idol again? Or have most of you moved on?

- I adore Keith Urban. Love Randi. Mariha just sits there like a princess and Nikki is useless. I can't stand how she talks and she brings nothing. I would have liked just the 3 and tolerating MC for the sesason. I love when Keith sings with the contestants. Him and Randi are why I watch!!   - Great to find another Urbanite on the HB! He did a great job last spring as a coach on "The Voice: Australia", and he KNOWS music - in theory and practice. He's into all genres and can recognize real talent. I think Mariah is going to be much better when her opinions don't translate into decisions. When the voting starts, I think she'll be more vocal. - I watched sort of regulary last season for the first time - I liked the way jay lo and the aerosmith guy did the judging - I liked the kinder more professional side of it - but I doubt I'll be watching it this year - y'all will have to keep us posted on how the talent does. - I like the auditions, but can't stand the wave bots in all the shows now. I really like Keith Urban as a judge , (he is so attractive and seemingly genuine), and of course, I still like Randy. MC seems so full of herself, and her snooty disdain for NM is palpable. She is the worst judge Idol has ever had. Though Paula was nutty as a fruit cake, she at least had personality. I actually like NM, but I feel uncomfortable because of her effect on MC. I wish they'd kept Steve Tyler and/or JLo. With Kieth Urban, that would have been a fun panel. As for the talent..   - Agree with you on Nicki and Mariah. The frostiness is palpable and makes things awkward. I prefer it when the judges get along and share camaraderie, like they did last season.
