Subject: There are definitely some 'established' ideas in the JAG-verse that have become so common in many stories - but are mostly fanon, were never really on the show as such. For example, Harm being a vegetarian. I think it derived from the 'meatless meatloaf' comment he made once - but just because someone eats something meatless once does not a vegetarian make. Yet in fanfiction he is made to be a vegetarian most of the time. And he is the one who is the good cook, whereas Mac supposedly can't or doesn't cook at all. Which was never said on the show as such.
