Subject: Yes, I can think of a ton of them that had great melodies even without lyrics: Perry Mason, Simon and Simon, Chips, Remington Steele, Scarecrow and Mrs King, just to name a few. Those great themes are a big contrast to the boring insturmentals we get today: Bones, NCIS, Chuck all have longer opening credits with recognizable songs, but you just don't go around humming those songs in your head! lol
In reply to: Cece 's message, "I agree. We know the lyrics to All In the Family, Family Ties, WKRP in Cincinattie, the Mary Tyler Moore show, and the Nanny for example. But even a distinctive theme tune works like the one on Barney Millar. Click here for It's About Time It was only on for 1 season, so I didn't get to see it." on 14:12:18 03/11/14 Tue
