It's all here!
Movies! TV Shows! Books! Music!
This is the place to discuss books, movies, music and tv shows other then JAG. This is your board! The structure is fairly loose but because not everyone watches the same tv shows, please limit discussion to one thread per episode.
We welcome your ideas on how this board should go. This is moderated the same as the HarmyBoard.

Uh.... I didn't mention a "cross-over".... what did you think I meant? (NT) -- Confused Chief, 22:14:46 11/20/11 Sun
Bones last night....... -- mkim, 11:33:23 11/04/11 Fri [15]
I watch when I can Castle,Bones and some shows but nothing like my love, obsession and whining days in JAG.LOL! I see all TV show patterns that they are the greatest gem when they are new but as the season goes on like all shows the wear and tear comes through. Its unavoidable. (NT) -- Yvonne, 15:20:52 11/18/11 Fri
Shiny (NT) -- Dancer, 01:37:59 11/16/11 Wed
Most of you sound like we all did during about Season 7-8 of JAG! LOL Has "Bones" jumped the shark? (NT) -- The Chief, 01:39:32 11/14/11 Mon
The obvious thing now is Kate and her PTSD, but we've yet to see if they are going to exploit / explore the shadow they cast on Rick in opener. The whole "files Montgomery sent to his friend" angle has yet to be touched on again. (NT) -- Dancer - who's enjoying the ride now and hopes to same the same after November sweeps as well., 02:19:02 11/06/11 Sun
Found this link to a cool video..... -- mkim hoping she did this right., 21:34:32 10/31/11 Mon [2]
Okay. Maybe I am just a Grabby old lady like my husband says... but does anyone find those GIEGO commercials offensive? The one with mother leaves her child with the robots for daycare. The parents that eat the young girl's fish because sushi is too expensive, and the Parents who teach their 5 yr old to dunk so he can get a scholorship(sp) to college. I don't find them funny. I think it is a reflection on the "ME" generation. Are parents really that lazy, self centered and not have any compassion toward their children. I change the channel when every those commercials come on. NOT FUNNY!! -- Cathy F. I sure wouldn't buy insurance from GIEGO either., 00:27:00 10/28/11 Fri [12]
Well, I don't know what it says about me, but I mostly let them go by me. The basketball one doesn't bother me. It's just misguided. I don't *like* the one about the daycare, but I can't stand the one about the sushi. Totally unfunny. (NT) -- Dancer - And I laughed at the caveman jokes., 01:39:19 10/28/11 Fri
Any idea when we'll know? i love Pan Am and CSI NY are the only ones I watch in that group. sigh......knew it was coming. (NT) -- mkim, 11:53:52 10/21/11 Fri
You've got to ask yourself "what are they thinking?" I mean, the new ones on this list are barely a month old. With all the choices out there, you've got to give people a chance to *find* you. You know? (NT) -- Dancer - Thinking of some of my all-time favorite shows that weren't much good the first season, but turned out to be great. (JAG, excepted, of course. :-), 03:10:45 10/22/11 Sat
Bones Spoilers!!! -- mkim, 20:31:59 10/13/11 Thu [4]
Cant wait til November 3!!!! (NT) -- mkim, 20:38:45 10/13/11 Thu
For Catherine Bell Fans....Yikes. -- Matou/Carol, 20:28:20 10/14/11 Fri [16]
I really HATE to see this. She's been working so hard, their little one is only one year old. This is sad. They always seemed so happy, it must have been something awful for them to split. I dont even want to know. (NT) -- mkim, 13:46:19 10/15/11 Sat
so sad but marriages today even outside Hollywood is so hard to last. Wish CB the best and all marriages in the world. (NT) -- Ingrid, 21:02:51 10/15/11 Sat
Is anyone watching Ringer and Revenge. I've really gotten hooked on these two shows. I was wondering if anyone else has. Jenks? -- Cathy F., 00:33:25 10/11/11 Tue [5]
Loved Pan Am last night!!!! -- mkim, 12:46:31 10/10/11 Mon [12]
This one was surprisingly like a regular cop drama, but still a good episode. Seamus Dever (Ryan) did a pretty good job with a very emotional role tonight. Not sure I'd want to see it this way every week, but it was well worth seeing. (NT) -- Dancer - but you can sure see the producers' new strategy working., 02:13:38 10/11/11 Tue
I'm a great mystery reader. Started out as a little girl reading Nancy Drew and the Dana Girls. Yes, I'm really old! LOL! I'm going to try some of the books you guys have suggested. I'm usually hard core mystery, but I feel like something light and amusing. Thanks for the suggestions. (NT) -- Cathy F., 00:24:42 10/11/11 Tue
I believe that's why TV's have channel changes! If something offends you change the channel!!! (NT) -- Cathy F., 23:56:02 10/08/11 Sat
I forgot Blue Blood which I love. (NT) -- Cathy F. hi Jenks we need your imput you little TV lover you! LOL!, 18:27:15 09/27/11 Tue
Guys, let us all remember one essential fact of network television: They build the arc in sweep months. Everything else is filler. Not that they can't do fun, worthy episodes. It's just that the eps they are doing now have to be able to fit in pretty much anywhere on the timeline of the season without being too jarring when they are run out of sequence. In fact, other than the Alexis / Ashley / Stanford angle, last night's ep could've been from anywhere - and could fit in anywhere. Maybe it was a little light, but give them a chance. Nov sweeps are right around the corner. (NT) -- Dancer, 01:56:16 10/05/11 Wed
LOL! Oh I'm in it for the long haul. I'm a Becket and Castle Shipper. But, I watched it a second time and still didn't care for parts of it. But, It's early yet and I'm sure we will have plenty of excellent episodes. I just don't find that captain funny in anyway. I guess Dancer hit it right on the head. (NT) -- Cathy F., 00:59:07 10/06/11 Thu
Or vice versa. :-) (NT) -- Dancer, 23:53:39 09/27/11 Tue
I watched it for a little while, but I'm up too early for work to finish it tonight. Thank goodness for DVRs so I can catch the rest tomorrow. I don't know about JAG episodes, but I was a little shocked by the age of their pilots. Good grief. The two up front for the London route looked barely old enough to vote. LOL! I can see the "stews" being that young on a prestige flight, but not the captain and first officer. (NT) -- Dancer, 02:36:15 09/26/11 Mon
I suppose you'll need to watch the whole episode, before you see the similarity in the storyline, but in Season 3's Defenseless, Harm's surprise and disapointment with just who Ensign Elizabeth Lane turned out to be(Naval Intelligence) This also made me think of CatMom, though I'm sure this era was a bit before her time. I suppose the pilots were young, though the pilot wasnt necessarily baby faced. Some guys just fly thier military obligation so they can fly commercial. where the money is...or was. (NT) -- mkim I'm cheering for this one, though I've only seen one ep. its just a nice change from what is usually on TV, 16:20:27 09/26/11 Mon
