I used to watch Celebraty Rehab with Dr. Drew Pinsky. At least 2 celebs from that show have since died, including Jeff Connaway (Grease, Taxi). If anything should put people off drugs it was watching these really (now) very unattractive x-celebs going through withdrawal. Not glam. We can only hope that all the young kids who idolized CM will be shocked into not even trying drugs. He was open about it and never galmourised it. It's so sad that in the end, there was noone there looking out for him.

we are super happy she's been accepted into a 'Company' in NYC, but we pray every day she doesn't get mixed up in drugs or any crazy stuff!

I wasn't blaming anyone. As an adult, he was free to go wherever he wanted, with or without a companion. But as this was a vulnerable time for him, after checking into rehab a couple of months ago, it was just a matter of time. The urge is so strong, that addicts will find a way. I don't know what the answer is, if indeed there is an answer.

Meanwhile, congrats to your daughter! I remember when she was trying to get into RADA or the equivelant. Try not to worry too much. Just be in her life. Most actors don't end up as addicts.
