Subject: I'm a crybaby over so many sad movies, particularly musicals, and I'm also terribly emotional and nostalgic about RL stuff. But for the life of me, I can't think of a tv show sad moment that made me cry, not even BE's death. The only thing I recall where I actually cried was when Harriet told Harm about the death of Baby Sarah. I know there ave to be more moments that will come to me later, probably at 3 am. .

JAG certainly had tearjerker moments, starting with Harm learning about his father's death at the end of "Gypsy Eyes." Powerful scene as he comes to gripes with the loss and the realization that his quest for finding his father has come to an end.

Also on JAG, the marine's death, wake and funeral in "Coming Home". Another powerful moment that all too many families have to endure. Same thing in "Army Wives" when Jeremy died, although I was never fond of the character.

One of the most powerful tearjerkers with actors other than DJE and CB was the scene from MASH in which Radar comes into the operating room and announces that Henry Blake's plane was shot down and there were no survivors. WOW! Still get a lump in my throat thinking about that scene.

And another powerful scene was on ER when Dr. Mark Greene died as the music of "Over the Rainbow" played.

[> [> Or the end of MASH when BJ leaves GOODBYE spelled out in rocks for Hawkeye to see? Very sad. I agree with ER. That one had me bawling like a baby. Stana Katics episode of ER is extremely sad also. Makes me cry everytime. -- TF, 20:11:10 07/04/12 Wed [1]

[> [> Oh yes, MASH had some very sad scenes, particularly the death of Henry Blake. Endings always make me sad if I love the show. I think I cried at the end of Moonlighting. I believe they put scenes together toGoodbye (We'll Be Together Again) by Ray Charles and Betty Carter. I was visible upset when that show ended. -- Cece, 03:37:19 07/05/12 Thu [1]
