Subject: To cut the writers of Bones a little slack - it didn't help that the lead got pregnant when she did and they couldn't do much while the show was on Hiatus- but a few flashback moments might have been the solution before she blurted out the pregnancy- or maybe the fans can rally and DEMAND flashback scenes to fill in the gaps- LOL - you know like JAG did with 4% solution -

[> [> [> [> I know that there was a lot of contraversy about the Paraguay arc, but it did provide Mac with a reason for looking pregnant. I'm sure Bones could have done something, particularly as they use quirky humour in their writing. Lots of shows have had to handle pregnancy. But as you said, to destroy a romantic build up in one or two sentences, was a horrible decision. What about filming hot, romantic scenes anyway, when she was first pregnant, and then fudge the time line? -- Cece, 11:33:14 05/10/12 Thu [1]

[> [> [> [> [> Yeah I actually think it's neat that for once, they weren't going to try to gloss over the actress' pregnancy, but rather use it. What I don't like is a) that we never got to see their beginning (yes I feel cheated!), and b) now that they have the baby, they lost all steam! They're sweet but... boring! I still watch, and it's still a good show, but it's ... lacking. -- Colie, 12:59:51 05/10/12 Thu [1]
