Subject: Oh wow, what a loaded question....I was never someone who always knew what she wanted. As a child I wanted to be just about everything under the sun, later on I wanted to be an interpreter, then a diplomat (I thought languages were fun and working somewhere abroad especially), then I wanted to be an actress, but was too chicken to actually audition for drama school, I wanted to join the federal police (my eyesight is too poor) and lastly wanted to become a forensic pathologist..inside..

so I studied medicine, but in the course of it decided I did not want to do 8 autopsies a day (and write the reports about it!!!), so I first did some internal medicine and am now doing my "residency" in virology/microbiology. Life is good....I´d still like to work someplace other than Germany at least for a time, so when I´m a fully certified virologist, I might look into that. Anyone know of open positions in Australia/New Zealand/Canada or somewhere in Scandinavia??? ;-)

[> I'm really enjoying selling real estate now - probably should have stuck with it fifteen years ago when I first got the idea- but in answer to your question - I always wanted to be a lawyer by the time I finished college the last thing I wanted to see was another class room or another test or paper or anything else - so I discarded the idea of being a lawyer - probably one of the biggest mistakes of my life - No idea where I'd be today- might still be living in cold NY but I should have gone to law school - -- chris k, 06:30:01 03/15/11 Tue [1]
