Subject: that's one thing that is pretty standard in US english - most authors know to use fiance and fiancee - what drives me nuts is blond and blonde - only half the editors in NY seem to know blond is a man and blonde is a woman - sigh - I kept telling a friend of mine that for years - when Berkley published her first book her editor came in and said the same thing - I thoroughly enjoyed sticking my tongue out and saying TOLD YA!!! LOL
