Subject: Oh, btw, I donīt think this has anything to do with political correctness, itīs a money issue. The more athletes from all over the globe compete for medals, the more people watch. The fewer countries are dominant, the less interest is there in the outher countries, the less sponsor money you get/tv rights you can sell.
