Subject: Humphrey: the Judicial Qualifications Commission told me to break the rules

Just when you think it couldn't get any stranger, Judge James D. Humphrey testifies that Adrienne Meiring, Counsel for the Judicial Qualifications Commission of the Indiana Supreme Court, advised Humphrey to NOT follow the Indiana Judicial Code of Conduct in an effort to protect other judges from having to deal with Dan Brewington. Rather than recuse himself from Brewington's case, while Humphrey claimed he was actively taking measures to protect his family from being abducted and/or murdered by Brewington, Adrienne Meiring advised Judge Humphrey to continue to preside over Brewington's custody case in order to protect other judges. Check out Humphrey's incredulous testimony. If Adrienne Meiring did not advise Humphrey to remain on the case, Humphrey should be charged with perjury for lying under oath and be held accountable for his role in obstructing justice.
