Either Humphrey is a moron or he's lying. How can you have a judge that would testify in a court of law that he should remain on a case to protect other judges from having to be afraid of Dan Brewington. There's noooo way the person from the state advise him to violate the judicial code. If they did, the whole Indiana judicial system needs to be rebuilt.

Humphrey- "I think Dan Brewington might kill my family"
Meiring- "Okay, but do you think that may influence whether you believe he presents a danger to his children?"
Humphrey- "No"
Meiring- "Well that settles it. Just stay on the case. Never mind the part of the judicial code that requires you to tell the parties of the potential conflict. We wouldn't want Brewington's quest to be reunited with his children to impede Negangards secret investigation and we don't want to trouble any other judges with Brewington's antics."
