Subject: The movie is not very well-constructed. It is okay up until the point DJE's character quits going to "the shrink" (Courteney Cox). After that, it's just one embarrassing moment after another. Horrible. The "farce" wasn't really the story line, but that Courteney and David Arquette (just recently married at the time) could make a rom-com with themsleves as the romantic interests.
In reply to: JAG Junkie (Ronda) 's message, "Well, I haven't seen all of The Shrink is In (mostly just DJE's parts), but I seem to remember from past discussions that the movie was really kind of a farce and not to be taken seriously. So, I'd say that in the context of the movie and its intentions, it was not gratuitous." on 00:27:32 04/03/10 Sat
