Date Posted: 6/03/08 2:11am In reply to: Keith Greenway 's message, "Re: REQUEST FOR HELP." on 3/03/08 11:33pm Trevor George Fowler, Born: Cardiff 1917, Trevor evidently fell from the mast of the SS. Stanwell, a tragic accident at Swansea Harbour 1944. Buried at Bedwellty, We have had a request from Trevors family for information, can anyone help? I have looked up the CWGC and no listing found in a name search or in a search in the Bedwellty cemetery section. His wife cannot recall filling in any forms etc at the time, is itpossible that he has been missed / overlooked by the CWGC and is it still possible to have the gentleman commemorated? What is the criteria etc? I am led to believe that enquiries to the CWGC are free to relatives but a charge is made to all others? Any advice welcomed prior to us contacting the CWGC etc. Thanks Keith. [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
