Date Posted: 11/03/08 1:12am If the CWGC does not record the accidental deaths of Merchant Seamen and yet members of HM forces can be recorded if death occurred from lets say the flu, where is the justice in that. Surely most that perished during 1914 - 1918 and 1939 - 1945 Should be recorded and remembered, without question. Do you know of anywhere that I CAN ADD NAMES OF MERCHANT SEAMEN, to another Roll of Honour, that will commemorate those that were involved but perished on the wrong day, in the wrong port, or of the wrong reason to satisfy Government stats etc. On another day, if the enemy were involved etc, the names maybe included on a plaque engraved at Tower Hil. Die yestertday in dock and you will be forgot - No matter what. SAD and Wrong in my mind. Tower Hill, may not be large enough, if all were remembered. Keith.
