[> [> I'm sorry I asked. Thanks for the rude response. This is the first time to buy them for me and there are no posts below for pants, just vests. And Burlington does not carry the flat front. I won't be coming back here for help anymore. -- No wonder Irish dance parents have a bad reputation for being ugly. People like you! Gald you're so perfect!, 15:57:11 09/21/08 Sun [1]

We used to buy a brand called Perry Ellis-I cant recall for sure, but I think we bought them at Sears. They were flat front. We have since gone to tuxedo pants, sometimes really cheap ones at some of the bridal shops.

[> There has been tons of messages on here about "flat" fronted boys pants -- inside, 04:09:45 09/22/08 Mon [1]

If you do a control F and put in pants it will search everywhere on this page for pants. It won't go into the archives but I think on page 3 there are lots of posts regarding where people buy them. You must do the ctrl F for each page you go to. Good luck and if you find them perhaps you could post for us.

[> I just bought a couple of pair ar Burlington Coat Factory for my DS. Flat front and nice fabric with partial silky lining. Brand name Bertolli or something that starts with a B? They also carry Liz Claiborne, but they have cuffs at bottom and tend to be a bit wider at bottom once cuffs are let down. -- Only $15...wow can't beat the price., 06:51:17 09/22/08 Mon [1]

[> Don't know if they still do this, but some of the boys from our school used to buy girls pants. Never would have know if they hadn't told me. Maybe a store that sells school uniforms, online would be French Toast. -- might be worth try, 06:54:19 09/22/08 Mon [1]

If son is self consciecne about it, maybe you could buy a couple of pairs and let him try on at home. Know Burlington is a stinker about returns, but maybe JC Penneys.

[> try googling 'zemskys uniform pants'. If you are OK with the pleat front, Target has them for $18 up to size 16. -- my kids always do pleats, 08:29:44 09/22/08 Mon [1]

[> [> I've seen both. Some TCs like the flat front for a more sleek/refined look. No side pockets even better (sometimes if the pants don't fit quite right the pockets stick out). [> [> [> I go to a local tailor who is quite good although more expensive than Burlington coat or other stores. I also get flat front. But for real thin boys/men I suggest you consider pleats in front as they add some needed weight. Do not go with school type trousers as you can often see the white in the pocket. -- --, 13:48:48 09/22/08 Mon [1]

[> If you have an older boy, try Banana Republic. My son (age 16 and 6'3") wears a girls size 10 from there. They fit perfectly because they have a little bit of lycra. Perfect length too. -- A bit pricey though, 09:27:49 09/24/08 Wed [1]

[> [> The pants run between $80 to $100 depending on size. The vest usually run $50 to $65 depending on fabric. I would be happy to answer any questions or give references if you are interested. -- feispants.com, 05:02:58 09/25/08 Thu [1]
