 Okay, so being a member of the Booster Club right now I am pretty pissed off. Mainly at this post. You have no idea what the booster club is doing right now do you? Exactly how long has it been since you have been to a meeting? I am a first time member this year and absolutely LOVED being a member. I was not made to feel guilty when I could not contribute and when I did I always got a bigger "Thank You" than anything. I may have not been able to contribute as much money and time as I wanted to because I have college and not a high-paying job, but I did what I could. I helped set-up apartments on my only day off, because get this, I WANTED THE PLAYERS TO FEEL WELCOME IN MISSISSIPPI. That is what the Booster Club is about. It's about the players. It's not about doing stuff and hoping to get recognized. That's isn't what HELPING is all about.

The Board is AWESOME! I am glad the ones who were elected this year were! They made plenty of fun events for us to do WITH all the players. And guess what, the players showed up AFTER all the club members were there. They didn't have their own private party or anything. Maybe you are talking about things in Years past but what I have seen this year was a Board creating fun things for us to do, and Members helping out, and having a great time at every event. No special rooms, No private bars, No special wristbands. The only people who had special incintives were the Board Members who were allowed in certain rooms to get EXTRA table s because more people than originally planned showed up! Wow! Sounds a little different eh?

So if you want the TRUTH, I suggest you stop living in the past. Because guess what all the stuff you are complaining about now, well that hasn't happened not once this year and I was at every event.
