And then I'm back in the States. Last week was rough. I got back to Munich on Monday noonish and went to work. We then had a department retreat starting Wednesday afternoon in the Alps. The schedule was absolutely brutal with meetings from 8:30a-9:30p on Thursday, followed by a little bit of boozing each night. Yep, and it snowed a few inches while we were there too. Here comes 8 months of winter! Friday night, I got take-out on my way home from the retreat, closed the blinds in my bedroom and climbed into bed for what would be the best 11 hours of sleep I've had since college. I kept a low profile over the weekend. Being lazy and watching PSU eek out a W. I am jealous of everyone that was at that game.

This week is business as usual. The girls seemed to be having fun in PA and they made it safely to Louisiana last night.
