We were supposed to visit Steep and Grind this morning so I could stock up on coffee for my new coffee grinder; but of course Claire started running a fever last night. Kids!

The holidays are over with. I spent Xmas Eve to NYE in Erie this break. As usual an abundance of alcohol made this time go by easier. The girls got way too many toys and pretty much only play with the newest toy they got. I'm sure I could just wrap up old toys and they would love that.

Highlight of Xmas for me was the new laptop we got. Went with an Acer that has a touchscreen. I'm still getting used to Windows 8, but so far I have no complaints. It's certainly not as intuitive as Vista or 7 were. Once you learn some of the shortcuts though it becomes better.

Losing BOB to the Texans was disappointing. I guess since I haven't been as invested in the team these past couple years that this wasn't devastating news for me. I am, however, looking forward to putting this behind us and finding a new coach ASAP. Hmm, I think I've said that before recently.

New Years resolution for me is to get back into shape. We toured the YMCA yesterday. We are evaluating our options for somewhere that has workout facilities and activities for the girls like swimming lessons and dance classes.
