holy poop i hate daylight savings. seriously, it needs to die.

friday - caruso and mom picked up dinner from one of our local fine dining establishments which meant i got to chill for a bit all by myself. i watched the breneman commitment live and then joined the ladies before they headed off to bed at 8. big gay frank was spending the night at the house as well but he was out helping prepare for caruso's b-shower so he didn't get in until about 10 and quickly went to bed himself. this meant i got to watch oodles of bball and the wire.

saturday - my rents came down with my aunt, uncle and cousin. the men went to dogfish, the ladies went to the baby shower. 45 people attended the latter, heaves joined our group at the former. by the end, my uncle was hammered and hugged the waitress on our way out the door. this was at 430. we then went and helped clean up at said baby shower. we got oodles of stuff (3 suvs full) which was nice but also a bit overwhelming. we have another shower up in the lbg in 3 weeks which will officially put us over the top when it comes to having enough crap for the spawn child. after a quick r&r period at the house, we went out for dinner and ended up passing out shortly thereafter.

sunday - caruso got up early (even earlier thanks to dst) and drove her mom to the airport. i slept in a bit and met up with my family for brunch before they hit the road. then it was back to the house for a health load of nothing. later in the afternoon we tackled the loot from the previous day and by dinner time, had things pretty much sorted out. i ended the night with more wire.
