I'm looking for recommendations for a laptop for my technically challenged parents. Their current one just crapped out due to a virus. Their needs are (1) Internet for email and interwebs (2) Microsoft Office and (3) storage for pictures. They'd be willing to go up to $700 which should be very doable since they shouldn't need to upgrade hardware to meet their basic needs. The only site I've looked at is Dell. I'm just curious if anyone has any other specific recommendations (brand or otherwise). A brand you like or have heard has good reviews. Lately I've only delt with macs and that is a bit out of their price range, not to mention a foreign OS.
