so we went up to visit my mom saturday/sunday. she seems fine, looks fine, but is in some pain due to her surgery. she'll be in the hospital for a few more days before heading home. she then needs to rest for 2 weeks before meeting back up with the doctor to see what stage she's in and what the treatment structure will be. she's in good spirits and said to thank you all for the well wishes.

as for ireland, i want to go. the only complicating factor may be our planned trip to frog land in june, so caruso may give me shit for going back to europe only a month after leaving. my intended messaging to this point is something along the lines of, "it's my money, woman. i'll spend it as i please!" if we get enough "solid" interest we should get a room now to avoid the hassle.
