my mom was discharged from the hospital yesterday. she's up and walking around (in small doses) and is still in some discomfort but it's getting better each day. the cool thing is that they closed her incision using medical adhesive, so no stitches at all. it's kind of cool to see.

she goes to see the doctor next thursday to get the results of her biopsies. no matter what, she'll be getting some chemo to knock out anything that could still be inside (hopefully nothing, but they do it just to be sure).

she said to thank you all for the well wishes and the edible underwear (nice touch bok!).
