so my mom had her follow-up today. she was diagnosed with stage ii(c) clear cell carcinoma. the biopsy results came back negative for all surrounding tissues (which is very good) and the general predicted outcome is positive (80% survival rate). she gets 2 ports put in and starts chemo around august 7/8.

this is positive news as she could have been stage 3 (stuff spread to other tissues/areas of the body). i spoke with my dad, mom and bro (who flew down to listen in live) and they all seemed to be in good spirits. i think everyone is happy to know where she stands and what the next steps are. so there ya go.
