today's question is should i apply for an associate sr counsel position in san francisco with a fairly established biotech? i'd be a brand attorney for them.

story behind this question. i was contacted by a headhunter on monday, given the whole story about how this company is looking for brand attorneys (i'm the flumist attorney for medimmune) and wanted to know if i was interested. it'd be a big bump in salary, a move to a smaller legal department (7 people) and an obvious change in scenery (and time zone). if not for my mom, i'd be all over this. still may be but, with how things are, i have to think a lot more about it.
